The DJ Case

The DJ Case is the international Mixing show by the Glitterboys. In this Section we provide you the monthly, international DJ mix sets, "Must haves" for your DJ case and DJ's we like.

At first sight "Pi Pi Pi" is a floor-tool but it has something mysterious in it i can't describe. Maybe it's the clicks or the relaxing, phat groove. Anyway this track is floor proof and being used by The Glitterboys. It is fun to play around while mixing. You can let it run for a very long time and put it on top of a stress track. Bass and lower middle cut will help to spread it out more significantly.

"Let The Beat Control Your Body" inbounds very slightly and evolves the voices without stress. At the beginning you have time to do a smooth crossmix not having to struggle behind the decks. The Vocals turn slowly in without percussion loops in the background an start a nice, beautiful bass firework. The Leadsynth is an modificated arpeggio which will tickle nerves and move feet.

Although Ya Mama was released in 2001 it could successfully be reproduced by DJ Moguai at the end of 2011. The track originally was featured on the Soudtrack of Charlies Angels and contains some recycled samples - just Fatboy Slim Style. Moguai evolved an club usuable burner out of it which is successfully rockin' the floors on Glitterboys Gigs.

The Glitterboys had a Release "Out of the Box" under the sign "The Glitterboys are Nastytunez". It is called "I like my Beat" and it features a strong, crispy bass tone like an electrical, deep trombone. The Brian Ferris Remix turned out to be the best to fit for the clubs. The bass fundament is deep and full of punch.
